Senior Night serves as a time to pay homage to the departing seniors in their final game at home. A very emotional experience for the students, families, and fans. But nothing could compare to Derek Willis’ senior night. In the pregame festivities prior to the game, Willis proposed to his girlfriend Keely Potts, and she said yes.
What a SAVAGE! Now that’s what I call going out with a bang. Not only did Willis get the girl, the Wildcats also got the win. Down 19 at one point Kentucky made their biggest comeback ever under John Calipari and cruised for a 6 point win over Vanderbilt. Great start to the night with a great finish. Bravo.
