We are looking to follow up our undefeated (4-0) showing for college football on Championship Saturday with another undefeated day in the NFL.
Miami Dolphins Vs. Denver Broncos (-2)
This is a classic trap game through and through. Denver is 0-5 ATS on the road this season and will be missing their best cornerback. Though Miami has lost 5 straight games, Denver has lost 7 straight. Trevor Simien is notoriously bad on the road as well. Look for Miami to be the less bad team at home and take home the win.
Pick: Dolphins +2
LA Rams At Arizona Cardinals (+7)
Jared Goff and the Rams are rolling. Poised to win the NFC West for the first time in years. I expect them to fully show up against a much less talented division rival. Although Blane Gabbert has played decent and kept the Cardinals in games, the Cardinals defense won’t be able to hold down this Rams offense. Even the Rams defense has come on as of late and put together a few really solid performances the last few weeks. Expect Gabbert to have some minimal success but ultimately get outscored by this Rams offense armed with Todd Gurley and an on fire, chip on the old shoulder, Jared Goff. Lay the points.
Pick: Rams -7
Philadelphia Eagles At Seattle Seahawks (+5)
This is a classic example of an inflated line because Vegas needs money against the Eagles. Winners of 8 straight against the spread, the public is finally catching on and burying Vegas books. They need the Eagles to not cover to get some heat off of them. No better place to grab a full 5 points than the Seahawks at home trying to make a run at the playoffs. Yes, the Seahawks secondary is big time banged up, but their solid d-line should keep The Eagles running game in check. I’ll take late in the season at home against Carson Wentz in a shootout. Look for Wilson to spread the ball around and make some plays with his feet. A line that should probably be closer to 1.5 or 2, take the free points Vegas is giving you because of the publics inability to not bet with emotion.

Detroit Lions At Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)
This Ravens defense, while good, is overrated. They have beaten zero quarterbacks who anyone would consider a top 15 QB. 4/6 of which were backup QBs. Facing Stafford will be a much bigger test. I’m not saying Stafford will necessarily have a huge day, but enough to get the win. The Lions defense is middle of the road and has played well enough to show they should have no problem completely shutting down the Ravens offense, which is one of the worst in the league. So even if the Ravens defense is able to hold Stafford to 14-17 points, that will probably be enough for the Lions to come home with one in the win column.
Pick: Lions +3
Indianapolis Colts At Jacksonville Jaguars (-9)
This is a great bounce-back game for the Jaguars defense against the leagues worst offense, following an embarrassing performance last week. Indy has proven they cant keep it together for an entire game and really have nothing left to play for other than a high draft pick. Their entire coaching staff is dead men walking. Look for Leonard Fournette to get the ball a lot and establish the ground game early and often. Don’t worry about having to lay the big number. The Jags might only need 10 in this game to cover that spread.
