Kyrie Irving Thinks The World Is Flat, Kyrie Irving Needs To Sit Down With Neil DeGrasse Tyson

On the shape of the Earth

KI: “No, the Earth is flat. It is flat. History is history, and it was happening long before us and will happen after us. And it always repeats itself somehow and in some way. All of these things that they keep giving us … is the Earth flat, or is it round? I think you need to do research on it. It’s right in front of our faces. They lie to us.

RJ: “OK. Kyrie. Do you believe the Earth is flat, or is it round?”

KI: “From what I know, from what I’ve been taught, the Earth is round. But when you think about it from the landscape of the way we travel, the way we move, and the fact that can you really think of us rotating around the Sun, and all planets aligned, and rotating around certain dates … there is no concrete information except for the information that they’re giving us. The truth is right there, you just have to go searching for it. I’ve been searching for it for awhile.”  Sports Grid

So when I first saw this I wasn’t sure how serious Kyrie Irving was with this. After seeing his response in this video turns out he was very serious. I’m all for conspiracies theories, I think a lot of them hold some truths, but you really gotta pick your spots. September 11th, I get it. JFK Assassination, understandable. The earth is flat…Bruh! What exactly is the argument’s proof? It doesn’t look round? The horizon seems flat? Honestly, what is it? Kyrie, of course, goes with the classic “Do your own research” as if he’s a goddamn NASA scientist on the verge of uncovering the planets biggest secret. We’re all just puppets who don’t understand I guess. Not woke enough for Kyrie. Nevermind the opinions of literally every scientist ever. Not to mention people who have actually been in space.

I think Kyrie just needs to sit down with Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who sums up so perfectly, just how flat out wrong these “Flat Earth” truthers really are.
